Turbidity Information Available for Monday, March 8, 2010

  • A turbidity reading was collected at the off-site discharge point at 10:20 am.  The turbidity result was 156 NTUs.
  • The monthly total and dissolved lead samples were also collected at the off-site discharge point on March 8, 2010.   Dissolved lead was not detected at a detection limit of 1 ug/L.  The NPDES permit standard for maximum dissolved lead for the Site is 650 ug/L. The total lead result is 39.6 ug/L. There is not an NPDES standard for total lead.  These results confirm that the turbidity performance standard is protective against a release of lead into the Lackawanna River.
